Default Trim cylinder rebuilding

Hey folks, I had a little fluid weeping from one of my trim cylinders so I looked into the options for fixing said issue. New rams are not crazy priced but no need to replace the whole thing. Ram rebuild kits are about $70 each. They come with the spring, bearings an a few other parts. I opted for the basic seal only kit I found for $16 per side shipped.
I could not find a youtube or online tutorial BUT the seals come with a diagram and were actually really straight forward an easy to do. The first one took me 45 min an the second took maybe 30. I'm very particular with my projects so I spend the time and cleaned the parts exceptionally well. While inside one of the rams I did happen to find the bad seal an some water it was letting in. Both rams had a type of "soot" built up in the valve with bearings. With some cleaning and new seals they operate good as new. Bleeding them is very easy as well.
On top of some basic hand tools you will want some suspension cleaner. It is easy on the seals and removes oil fluid with ease. One person can do this but it would not hurt to have a clean set of hands to help.
