Default Removing Surface Rust
Hey , I need to remove some suface rust on the sides of my engine block before painting. I tried some biodegadable gel stuff , and it didn't work for sh--.
I was thinking of trying a power washer on it. I don't know....what do you guys think? Any suggestions?

    Short of sand blasting there is no perfect method. I usually scrape the big stuff then wire brush what I can with a brush attached to a cordless drill. Prime with a cold galvanizing spray paint and finish it off with an engine enamle. Did mine last spring...looked like new when done.
