Power antenna repair
 

Has anyone replaced their power antenna mast?
Or know who the original supplier of the power antenna was?
Mine only goes up a few inches and then stops while the motor keeps making a lot of whirling noise.
I checked the internet and to replace the antenna with a new mast/ drive rod looks easy but I believe the replacement mast/ drive rod has to match the motor.
Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.

I dont believe we've located a source for the oriignal electric antennas. If i remember correctly WetWilly replaced his mast with an automotive SS unit that fit okay.
