I went to the lake a few days a ago and after a around an hour later the boat bogged down and died. I waited a bit and it started back up and ran for a little while and did the same thing.
I am new to this this club and have a Mariah 2350Z with a 454. I thought it was a fuel problem and changed the filter and started it up and let it run for a bit.
later the same thing happened and noticed it was running hotter that usual and shut it down 200 or so degrees. I rear some of the others and believe the impeller may be bad as some of the others said on this site. I can work on an engine bit have no idea where to start on this impeller which gets the water inside to the water pump. Thanks waiting for everyone to reply. Terry

impeller needs replaced. no doubt about it. same exact thing happened to me!
