New 2000 Shabah 212 Limited Edition boat
Hi guys,
I just acquired a 2000 Mariah Shabah 212 limited Edition boat with 13.8 original hours. It hasn't seen water since 2011. It still has antifreeze visible from the last winterization and has been sitting in a barn protected from the elements but very dusty. I've been going through things and aside from the dust and mildew smell everything seems brand new. I've been doing some general maintenance on it and I'm wondering if there's something Im missing or should be aware of. Here's what I've done so far: -Replaced Alpha One Gen2 outdrive impeller, seals and gear oil. Topped off reservoir. -Fixed leak on outdrive hydraulic trim line. topped off trim reservoir. -Spent 9 hours cleaning everything with mildew remover and scrubbing canopy -Replaced prop with 4 blade Quicksilver and hub kit -Replaced trim Relays on trim pump pack since they were intermittently working -Mount and supply boat with legal items (Fire extinguishers, life preservers etc.) -Greased trailer axles -put new tires on trailer -Checked Bilge pump, lights, gauges and blower all working properly Here's what I have planned: -Will change engine oil/filter in the spring -Will check spark plugs and wires when I get home -Clean and buff hull in the spring Please let me know if there's something else I should be checking or aware of!! Thanks guys |

Thanks, yeah I’m very excited to get it on the water next spring but I want to make sure I’m not missing anything. I forgot to mention in the first post that I drained all the old fuel out of the tank.
Can anyone chime in on what I might be missing? |
