I have a company in Carl Junction, MO that re did the small snap in carpet forward of the helm and I was quite impressed. They not only do carpet, they can do all of your vinyl and canvas Covers.

If anyone is around the Cincinnati Ohio area, I can recommend a great one.

I used John's Marine Service to have my cockpit cover, and my lay in carpets made. He came out and took all the custom measurements for the cockpit cover, and did a great job on it. I had him do some lay in carpet for me last year, which turned out great, has really helped the look of the boat, and was pretty affordable too. Great guy to deal with, top notch work. I highly recommend him if you need any type of canvas, vinyl upholstery, or carpet work done.

The photos show his work. The last photo of the full cockpit carpet was taken before the final edging seams were sewed on the sides, but it gives you the general idea.

Re: Custom Canvas, Vinyl Covers, and Carpet Companies

Anyone have a good canvas, vinyl seat, and/or carpet company in the Minneapolis, MN area. Although I don't exactly know when I'll be getting this work done (months or years), I eventually will be:

- recovering my sundeck and a few jump seats (general cracks)
- replacing my front snap in carpet (the front 2 snaps fell out)
- replacing my old cover with a 2 piece snap on cover

Also, people mention that you can get a good deal if you offer them work during their slow times....but I am curious when this time is usually expected (dead of winter I suppose).

Thank you and have a great day,

Kris

Chris,

Thanks for the referral. Can I ask what John's Marine charged you for the cockpit cover? I noticed it didnt have any vents?
