How do i remove the Negative battery cables from the starter on my Z255?
 
What is the best way to remove the negative battery cables from my starter? Its in a tricky place. My negative cables are all corroded so i need to replace them. Mercruizer 7.4

What motor setup? With my 5.7 I had to use a 1/4" ratchet, 8mm socket with a short extension...

The negative battery cables are connected to studs on the rear of the bell housing on my 7.4, not to the starter
