Default Smartcraft to chartplotter

I have just purchased a Raymarine A57D Cartplotter for my 2001 Z270 Shabbah with 496 mag with smartcraft system.I want connect the Raymarine to the smartcraft system to display engine date .Raymarine website says the unit can display this info but I am not clear on what I need to do this.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you Greg

    Default Re: Smartcraft to chartplotter

Greg here is what I can find:

How can I get MerCruiser engine data to display on my GPS/ chartplotter?

The MercMonitor, levels 1, 2, or 3, can be configured as a gateway to export engine and vessel data to an NMEA 2000-compliant chartplotter.

www.cruisersownersforum.com • View topic - SmartCraft MercMonitor, a critical review

GATEWAY MODULE MULTI-ENGINE and the part number is 8M0065208 (see attached photo). You can order it from your Marine Max dealer or any other Mercury Marine supplier. The price is $695.00 (which is $300 cheaper than previous Merc Monitor Level 3 monitors that could do the same thing)

The installation and set-up is easy. Simply plug in one end of the gateway to your Smartcraft junction box and the other end into your current NMEA 2000 network. While every chartplotter may be different, the basic display set-up is the same. I have a Garmin 7212 chart plotter which automatically "saw" the data and provided various display options (analog or digital guages) on the screen.

The nice thing about this is the ability to see all the engine data in a large consolidated display without having to "click through" the various Vessel View screens while underway.

The above is a quote Greg.

Hope this will help you out Greg.

    Larry
