Well, I am a boat guy, so I do enjoy the sunny warmth. Looks like a nice place Colin!

However, I am Canadian, so naturally I also enjoy having the change of seasons, some cold weather and of course snow. During the snowstorm last night I took the dog for a walk, and it was so peaceful walking through woods with the flakes coming down...

but, it's official: I'm sick and tired of shovelling snow! The piles at the end of my driveway are over my head (6'). I have no place to put it any more. I'm damn glad we had a big thaw back in January, otherwise my driveway would consist of a tunnel to the road...

Global Warming my ass. It's been a long time since we've had a winter this long and with this much snow. I'm think I'm going to the closest unplowed area and do some 4 wheel drive burnouts in the Grand Cherokee. That thing drinks gas like a 5 year old drinks Kool-Aid, which should help expedite that whole planet warming thing...

I like snow.....for about a week at Christmas and then it can go back to being warm again.

I'm havin' to throw that snow farther and farther now or it just tumbles down the snow pile and back onto the driveway. I've been here 10 yrs now & never seen this much snow (& continuous snow) for so long.

We should all go over to Colin's place for a couple of brown pops. I'll wear my ridiculous flowered shorts and a Hawaiin T-shirt Do ya think they'll let us in the country?

Well if they let us in ... would we manage to get ourselves deported back out..

Driving around for the past week is difficult due to the high snowbanks everywhere and narrow road ways etc.

I like my winter, i was born in December in a huge snow storm (1977 ) so that might be why I like winter.

I should see about scanning a very old photo that my mom has where she is standing on a "snow drift" that blew over top of a road. Basically this road sits at the top of a hill and where the cut the road out, that is where the snow drift was. I think they figured to be about 20-30 feet deep. It took a few days to dig it out with front end loaders.

I would love to.... but there's a small matter of 2 boys in school and they're both nearing playoff time with their respective hockey teams......and my better half is heading to Europe for 12 days at the end of the month. Business trip to be sure but it includes the south of France, Bordeaux region, Paris, Bonn, Vienna, Munich, Ghent, Brussells.......you get the picture. Someone has to stay home and do the housework.
