Sonar Repairs

Does anyone know where I can send my Lowrance Fishfinder to get it repaired? Already tried Lowrance and they were about as helpful as a dead carp. They said it's to old!!:shakehead:
2008 model X135.
I'd just get a new unit but I really like it for the fishing I and the wife do.
Help please:confused:

mine went out. didnt call Lowrance figuring it would be too much to fix, so I bought another used. then after calling them, i could have got a new HD model for less then what I paid for the used one.

did you ask them up about trade in/upgrade ?

No I didn't. They seemed to have the additude that "if it isn't warranty work...They don't want to do it".
There has to be someone out there that works on fishfinders:confused:
If I end up buying a new unit it sure isn't gonna be a Lowrance:mad:

You could always search for a used one (same model) on eBay...It would likely be less expensive than repairing your unit and that way you just plug & play! Here's one for sale that tentatively sold earlier today and another one from Craigslist.

Or look for an Eagle Fishmark 480. I believe its the same unit.

Yeah , I thought about the same thing Mikey. It is a sentimental item from my grandfather that passed away , but I guess that is what I will have to do unless I want to remove all transducers and start over.
