    Default this is just terrible

    December 02, 2007 11:00pm

IT'S the first week of summer and it's going to be a hot one.

Temperatures in Brisbane are set to hit 30C from tomorrow – quite a hot shock after November's mild weather.

Senior weather bureau forecaster Jonty Hall said Brisbane had not had a single day over 30C since November 4.

"This next week or so we will see it starting to warm up," he said. "From around about Tuesday onwards through most of the rest of the week we're likely to see temperatures getting up to around 30C during the day, which is a fair bit higher than we've had lately."

Temperatures reached 30C on six days during October but the November average was 27C, making it a milder than usual month.

The showers that were around yesterday are tipped to make a return this morning, before the weather clears in the afternoon.

Mr Hall said the bureau was predicting that storms would start brewing out west on Wednesday.

The first thunderstorms of summer are expected to reach the coast on Wednesday afternoon and linger until Thursday.

    Hi guys,
The weather doesnt seem to be that great for us here in Perth either. This little copy of the Bureau of Meteorology (hell of a word) from their website today.

Friday Fine. Min 11 Max 25
Saturday Fine. Min 13 Max 29
Sunday Fine. Min 14 Max 31
Monday Fine. Min 16 Max 34

Oh yeah, these are Celcius not Farenheit temperatures - 30deg C is 86F.
Cant wait for it to warm up
