Default Oh no, another defector

After scouring the country for the right older Mariah I came across a really good deal on the Sea Ray Sundancer and pulled the trigger on it today. I had sold my 2007 SX18 in December but was anxious to replace it as we can still boat on many weekends.

My new boat is a 1995 250 DA with a newish 5.7L and newish Bravo 2. The upholstery was redone this past summer and the records indicate that the boat has been well cared for.

I will continue to lurk on the MOC forums as this is a great group. Some quick thoughts:

I've been Club Sea Ray forums quite a bit and I really like that the forum threads open with the latest post first.

If anyone happens to be in the market for a Z275 or Z302 I have a list that probably represents every single one for sale in the country. Feel free to ask and I will share.

It's inevitable that some of us will change brands because we haven't found exactly what we want in available Mariahs when it comes time to upgrade or replace the existing boat. And...we would prefer that you hang around our forums. I might have thought otherwise if you had replaced the Mariah with a Bayliner though....

As for having the threads open up at the newest post, that is an option here also. Go to the Quick Links tab & hit "Edit Options". About 3/4 of the way down that page you will see "Thread Display Mode". Set it to 'Linear - Newest First'.

Congrats on the new boat! Sea Rays are definitely nice boats. Post up some pics when you can.

Nice purchase Phlorida, I was a SeaRay owner for 16 years before I bought the Mariah. They are indeed well made boats. I still want a trailerable Sundancer. Enjoy!!!

Congrats on the new boat! I'm a previous Sea Ray owner as well, and I'll admit, they do make some nice boats. There's no shame in switching brands, especially if it'll fit your boating needs better! You're always welcome back here at the MOC!
