Chris, you're keeping us in suspense. Things must have gone _really_ bad since you won't even talk about it yet.
The Mariah has been great this year. Have had her out a few times with no real problems. My Blue Fin at the cabin has been a different story though.
First time up there this year, I remount my outdrive with it's new clutch dog, go to start the boat... no go. Doesn't have spark. The next weekend up there, I get the no spark problem fixed, put the outdrive through it's paces on the ear muffs, check the oil in the drive... milky. Ugh. I ended up dragging the boat home so I could go through it at home in the garage rather than at the cabin with limited tools and no shops close by.
The only downside to Mariah was last night. I finally got my torque shift prop in the mail, put it on and head to the launch with my brother to test it out. He's in the boat and I back him down in... bumpity bump. the skeq and one fin on my shiny new toy hit the ramp. Broke one blade on the prop.
Bummer, didn't even get to try one run with the thing.
So, we made the best of it, put the old prop back on, cracked a beer and tooled around for an hour.
