So, what do you guys think now?????:punch_out:

Re: First black president
I think that he is the first intelligent president you have had in quite a while. I've been travelling from Vegas across to Oklahoma City over the last 2 wks and after a stop in the Texas panhandle yesterday and listening to some redneck named Ed Montana do his 'Obamanation' song (its apparently on YouTube) at what was supposed to be just a Cowboy Breakfast along with some cowboy entertainment, I'm more convinced than ever that your country made the right choice.
That said....no more politics for me on this site. I cant stand political or religious discussions. :shakehead: ps...at the Cowboy breakfast, one of the locals from Amarillo tried to turn it into a bible thumping meeting. Keep the religion to yourself and we'll get along just fine.... |
Re: First black president
Right choice for sure. Finally some one with something intelligent to say. The last guy was getting getting tough to listen to. Canadian opinion eh!

Re: First black president
Hi guys, I know we all have our different views when it comes to politics and/or religion and that's OK, but lets keep it on a civil level. We are all adults here and this is a family forum.
Here are two topics (consider them rules or guidelines) in the Forum FAQ's that should be read by all members: 1) Discussion Topics - This is a boating oriented board. Discussions of partisan politics, or religion have no place here. No one is going to convince anyone else to change their minds about anything and feelings always seem to get hurt, so lets just skip it all together. Commentary regarding current events will be tolerated, as long as it's in the General Chat >Chit Chat forum and remains civil, on topic and does not become a partisan discussion. 1)Flaming - Flaming will not be tolerated. Decisions about whether something is a flame will be made by the board moderators and will be final. Please keep the tone respectful, even if you disagree with something. If you can't be civil, don't visit or you will be banned. Good natured "ribbing" is one thing, but if it is designed to hurt or to demean, it is not okay. Show respect to your fellow Mariah Owners and you will be treated with respect in return. We are all out on the waters together so don't choose to hide behind your keyboard and make "off the cuff" comments that insult others and detract from the conversation. So now that we all know, lets respect each other, even when we disagree. :wink_thumbup: Thanks, WetWilly |
Re: First black president
Couldn't agree more WetWilly, this is a boating site not The Daily Beast.
That being said, the only thing to say about presidents and boating is George HW Bush was the last true boat lover President. He took delivery of a 38' Fountain with triple 300hp outboards in May. He can afford the gas! |
