I"m a construction superintedent for a general contracting company. Right now I'm building a wal-mart in Ft Wayne, IN; it takes about a year to build one. I stay at the site town all week, then go home to Sullivan, IL to boat all I can on Lake Shelbyville. Its a corp of engineers lake or about 11,000 acres, lots of coves. Fun lake!

I've been divorced 13 years, a son 23 attending Millikin, daughter 21 at Eastern IL Univ, and another daughter, 20 getting ready to transfer to U of Texas at Austin. It's a wonder I can afford to put gas in mine!

Never been remarried, although I like to say I"m interviewing applicants! It's a wonder how these boats help out in that aspect!

I'm a small town Independent Insurance Agent and avid golfer.
We boat on the Mississippi River between Quincy, IL and Hannibal, MO. We also spend time on Mark Twain lake around 35 miles away.
I'll pull the camper and my wife will follow pulling the Talari.

Named the boat "Kay Sara' " after my 2 daughters, Kayla and Sarah.

I'm a Director of Engineering at Honeywell Aerospace. We develop everything from Lights to Engines and Flightdeck Avionics! Fun place, especially for geeks...

I live in Springfield, OH, but spend most of my summer weekends at Indian Lake, about 45 minutes north. It's about 6,000 acres with numerous channels. Shallow though, averages about 6 feet!! Gets choppy on the weekends, but my 202 runs right through, or on top of the chop. I can get it up to 57/58 by myself.

I've been married 30 years (in about a month) with 2 daughters and 2 female dogs. My oldest child, ALicia (25) graduated from OU and Wright State w/ BS degrees in Early Childhood Education (Job market sucks) and in Nursing... she's changing from a consumer to a producer... working at Miami Valley Hospital in the pulminary step-down critical care unit. My other daughter Lindsay (22) is in grad school at OU studying to become of Doctor of Physical Therapy... pray for her:-) I plan for them to take care of me when I get old...

Welcome aboard! Happy to see you were able to keep the boat after all that tuition! I have 2 litle ones....almost 4 and almoet 2. I'm going to patent velcro bathing suit bottoms and boat seats to keep them sitting there for the weekends. Looking forward to your posts.

Offshore work

I am real lucky - I work offshore as a communication - logistics - personnel manager doing a 3 week on 3 week off cycle. So of course I have heaps of time to hit the water in our boat. My wife works part time caring for old age people (mostly with dimentia - which is great cause thats what I think I have sometimes).
I am also co owner of a "Wet Blasting" company. Its a lot like sandblasting but with the water introduction there is no dust, plus with the German "Torbo" machine we use very low pressure to remove anything from chewing gum from sidewalks to gelcoat off boats!!! I have distanced myself from the business end of this company now just to spend more time at home and on the boat.

I'm the Training and Development Manager for Advanced Technologies and Laboratories at the 222-S Laboratory out here on the Hanford Nuclear Reservation.

Have been using my Fridays off to play golf, but not anymore, cuz I'll now be boating on the Mid-Columbia and Snake Rivers for at least a couple-few more weeks.

I'm married with three great kids. We live in The Tri-Cities of WA.
