Another dumb question
 

I'm blind as a bat without my contacts. What does everyone do when tubing? I'm afraid if I get water splashed in them they will just fall out. I don't feel comfortable not wearing something so I can see either. I guess LASIK isn't that expensive anymore lol.

I got glasses with neoprene straps that make them float.:wink_thumbup:

I hadn't thought of that option. My wife wears glasses but takes them off when she gets in the water. She's not as blind as me either though.

I'd thought about goggles but didn't want to look like the old, fat, dorky guy. :p

Swim goggles are no good. When you wipe out and plant your face in the water, they create incredible suction on your eyes! And they give you tunnel vision.

These are much better.

I've worn soft contacts for the last 30 years. Never once lost any while swimming, skiing, or tubing. You just learn pretty quickly to close your eyes when going down.

I boat, tube, water ski, snow ski & scuba all with my contacts in. Never had a problem, nor ever lost one either.

Husker fan i wear and old pair of glasses with a strap to hold them on if you fall.i wear perscription sunglasses, have for many years and never loss a pair. Gary g spring is here getting the boat out april 1
