Just realised I should start he tread in the appropriate place.

Just looking for general info on fuel usage, quirks, gotchas or any thiing of that nature. I ask especially since this boat has very low hours (72) and is 11 years old. Dredd sugested that i have it scaned to verify the hours which is a good idea but looking for other comments on things that I might not think of. This is my first big boat.

I found shortly after purchase that the power lift resi was low on fluid and set off the beeping alarm. I had the whole system flushed and re-filled. no more beep. the resi is under the back of the motor/trans

change the outdrive water pick up pump impeller, unless they can show it being done in the last year. if it fails, you over heat and there goes the motor. this is something you should do every other year like clock work.
