Re: Bottom paint?
My boat is bottom painted. Except, I don't have to have it painted every 2-3 years  Because the previous owner spent the big bucks ($2,600)and had it done professionally, so it doesn't have to be done again. My boat is in a lift tho so... I don't mind the bottom paint, less work for me to buff it out come spring. You hardly notice the paint on the trailer. If anyone wants I can get specific pictures since the boat is home for the winter...

Re: Bottom paint?
I used the Interlux barrier coat on my 36 foot sailboat and it was great. I also used VC-17 as a bottom paint and again it was very good. The Interlux was very expensive because of the prep work-I paid the bill and didn't do the work. I always put my own VC-17 on, which was easy except it dries so quickly you have to work like crazy before it evaporates-on a 36 footer that's not easy!

Re: Bottom paint?
95Z212, can you post or email me some more pics of your boat? I've thought about doing the white bottom paint on mine, just not sure how it'd hold up with keeping it in the water, and occasionally trailering it. Yours looks great, and is hardly noticeable!
