Default Booster ball

I was wondering if anyone has used a booster ball yet while tubing? Getting ready to hit the lake this weekend and was thinking of getting one. I have read the reveiws on it but alot of the reveiws are from pontoons. Just wondered if any Mariahians had any comments.

I tried it last week with another boat but found the water too choppy. We're headed up again tomorrow and will try it behind my boat and a Seadoo. I will report back my findings. I did notice it keeps the rope mostly out of the water. The size of the ball did surprise me though!

I use one when pulling the kids and I think it works good, keeps the tube from nose diving.

Got home after 2 days on the lake and we experimented with the Booster Ball with my 182 and a Honda Aquatrax 1235 cc PWC. Overall it worked well but it doesn`t substitute for driver skill . Haven`t really experienced much nose diving but that could all depend on the specific type of tube being used. When the Booster Ball was working well, it did look impressive with its size, colors and design. IThe bright yellow did give me a good visual of the rope and proved invaluable while pulling some of the younger children at slower speeds.
Still waiting on input from others who tried it as well.
Did find though that the size of the ball does seem inconvenient when reeling in.

Ok...sorry have been busy since ive been back home from the lake. Sorry but our video was horrible since it was really windy and the waves made the ride in the boat crappy. But as far as the booster ball testing goes, i give it an A. It really helped out alot!!! It worked as intended...Kept the rope out of the wake and helped with the jerking of the tube during slack . The size of it is a little bit of pain when pulling the tube in but i can take that pain anyday. Also you have to keep an eye on the zippers due to they will unzip from time to time, but overall it was worth the money

I'll be back at it again this weekend and will report back my findings. Hopefully I can convince someone to video without losing my camera!

One thing I did notice is the ball will spray the riders in the tube. Not really a big issue if they don`t mind getting wet but for those days when someone just wants to take a leisurely ride behind the boat, it does get them somewhat wet.
