Can anyone help me? I am looking for the surge brake release on my 1996 Chariot Trailer.

Are you talking about the release so that you can back up? If so, I would imagine you would be hard pressed to find one. You can however buy the entire brake cylinder. I think they are around 100 bucks.

I have a 95 trailer, the same set up. It shows that the release is on the bottom side (looks like a push lever) Mine did not have this. We have the owners manual online for this trailer if it would help to see some diagrams. I just ordered some parts for mine from Pacifictrailers.com, fast, some of the best pricing, and great diagrams to make sure you get what your after. Good Luck!
