Default Dual Prop

Is it even possible to put a dual prop on my boat, anyone? I have a 08 SX19 w/ extswp. I will update my profile in the next couple of days with some pics. I was also looking at the thread about SmarTabs, that is on my ToDo list for sure.

You could but it would be overkill installing a Bravo 3 with that 5.0L. And $$$. I'm assuming that planing is an issue? If so, Smart Tabs will be your best addition for planing purposes and you could also consider a 4 blade prop to give your boat a little more 'bite'.

No, planing is not an issue til i get 6 or more adults on the boat. It pulls tubes and skiers with no problem with that 5.0L. I just know that the dual prop setup is that much better. When I was hunting for boats, Cobalt, was one on my list and I fell in love with its design. Saw the dual prop setup and did some research in its pros and cons. Just thinking out loud really. I a definitely doing the Smart Tabs though, thanks.

You can't just put a Bravo III (dual props) lower on an Alpha (single prop) upper .
A complete Bravo III is around 7 grand.
