A few questions first. What prop is on the boat now? What speed (preferably using a GPS) and what RPM's are you reaching at WOT? What do you primarily use the boat for? Cruising / waterskiiing / tubing / wakeboarding etc...

I've only had the boat out once so he had sum kinda 3 blade 21 pitch chopper prop on it I put a what looked to b a 19 pitch prop on it an I looked like a bass. Oat throwing 1 hell of a rooster tail lol so really didn't get much of any kind of rpm/speed readings! The boat does have trim tabs not really sure how to use them tho. An I maily do cruising no skiing tubin etc! Mainly get to my party island an hang for the day! Hope that helps to help me! I just put a 23 pitch on there now but haven't made it back to the water yet

My boat is also a 24' cuddy with the 5.7 in it. When I bought it it had a 19" 3 blade on it and it was a little sluggish getting up on plane. If you had more that about 5 people in the boat, it would not even plane out unless some people got up on the bow. I dropped to a 17" five bladed "Highfive" and the boat is WORLDS better. The best thing to do is run your RPM's and speed (with a gps) then use mercury's prop finder on the website. It was on the nose for my prop and I couldn't be happier!

I'm reaching about 39 on the GPS at WOT. With the 19" prop, I was only reaching about 41 because the engine was bogging down to about 4000 RPM. I don't have trim tabs, but I plan on installing a set of smart tabs soon.
