Default Windshield seal

Hi everyone,

I’ve noticed over the winter that I’m getting a lot of water ingress between the windshield and the hull on my 1994 Z225.
I guess that the rubber seal has perished after 25 years!
Does anyone know if this seal is a plain flat strip or if is shaped in any way?

I tracked down the original manufacturer of the screen, but they don’t have records going back that far.

Any info appreciated

Its been about 12 yrs since i pulled my windshields but i seem to remember a flat rubber 'gasket'. I simply reinstalled it, caulked it really well and it hasn't leaked since then.

John, maybe I can help. I ordered from amazon, the following and it fit perfect on my 94 Talari windshield and side windows. It is called "TRIM-LOK solid rectangle rubber seal. EPDM foam rubber seal. I got 25 feet and had enough to do the front and sides. Cost me $56.49

Salo... are you referring to the foam insert that goes in the slot just below the window glass or the flat gasket that sits between the hull and the window frame ? The stuff in the slot is there to hide the window frame screws.

    Hi Mikyt & Salo,
It’s amazing how having a Trade name makes Googling so much easier!!!
I’ve found a local supplier, well in England, who can supply both the flat seal and the box section to cover the screws. I’ll post details when I’ve done the work

    Many thanks guys. 👍🤝
