Default switches not working- 99 z222

A little help please. We just purchased our Z222 last Tues and during test drive all the switches worked. Pulled boat approx. 110 miles and when I went out to go over some things nothing works except the radio and the wiper. No lights, blower etc. Any thoughts?? Its a boating weekend and we want to go out and enjoy. I am mechanically savvy but not so great with electrical.
Thanks in advance
Rob

forgot to mention that the trim and motor still work/start. I looked at battery connections and didn't see anything loose etc but intend to redo battery connections tomorrow.
    thanks again

Sounds like a poor ground & likely at the battery. Pull apart the small wire connections at the battery and clean/replace them too.

Fuse box, if you need to check them, is up under the dash against the starboard side.

    day two follow up:

When I got home today I removed all the ground contacts at the battery. no corrosion noted but scuffed them up and reinstalled anyway. Went to perform a check and found something interesting. When you turn the wiper switch on all the rest of the switched work but they only work as the wiper motor travels back and forth. As I mentioned yesterday everything worked as it should on test drive and now this. I am really confused now. I didn't notice this the other day but I really wasn't trying different switch configurations.
How can this happen? I am either really missing something obvious or Im totally lost.

You can use the search thread for this. But every one of these threads ends up the same way, you most likely have a bad connection at one of the switches corrosion on the terminals most likely. They all run in series 4-the power and ground. Pull of the spade connections on the switches and clean them.
