Unhappy Trim/Tilt not working

Hey all,

I've got a problem with the trim. Whenever you either trim up or down, you can hear the clicking of what I assume is the relay, but nothing happens. Not sure what to look for now so any suggestions are welcome. The boat is out of the water now, so it should be easy to work on.

It's a Shabah 203 with a Volvo Penta 4.3 GLX with the dual prop.

Thanks already!

The clicking is probably the solenoids. It sounds like your motor might be bad.

It sounds to me like it is the solenoid. I mine would occasionally do that last year and when I had the boat winterized they replaced the solenoid and said it should fix the problem. Just a thought.

Thanks guys. So the solenoids are (probably) the answer then. Anybody know if they are easy to replace yourself? Not sure where to look. Or do I need to change the whole motor?
