I need a wiring diagram for the battery switch w/ 1 starter batt.& 2 accessory batt. And if possible any and all wiring diagrams!!! For my 2001 maira 218 shabah!!!

Hi ray,

We do have a few diagrams contributed by members but because there are several type of battery switches and isolators/ACR's on the market and each one having their own wiring configurations, whether they will work for you is anybodies guess .

We need to identify the components in your setup as in the make and model of the battery switch, and whether you have any isolators or an ACR. Once we know what we're working with, then we can set about locating the correct wiring configuration.

thanks for taking the time to try and help me. My boat is not close by but I'll make an effort to get to her and find out what kind of battery switch I've got. I dont know if I told you but theres about 5 wires coming out of this switch and there all fused by the round ones. One more thing I just thought of, I did add another battery( which makes 2 for accessories and 3 all together) and one for the starter.
Tell me this Mr WetWilly, what wires have to be connected to the #1 starter battery and what needs to be connected to #2 battery switch besides the obvious. Or is the accessories leads connected to a different terminal??

Thanks again my friend and I will get back to as soon as I can about the switch. I can tell you it has 3 leads and it's red. From the top to the bottom it goes from #1 then turn switch down to the right and you have BOTH the turn it all the way down to #2. nothing fancy willy.

Ray, almost sounds like the system I have ( 1 / 2 / Both ) except our switch only has 4 wires attached but we also have an ACR and that has 5 wires going to it.

If you have a digital camera, it would really help us, help you by getting a few shots of the front and the back of your switch, especially where the wiring is attached if possible.

Let me know if you need any help with posting the pics.
