Mariah 250 Shabah
 

Hello friends! I'm new to the club and I am from northern Spain. I have a Mariah shabah 250 of 2000 and I am really happy with it!.
I´ll like to make a question about the combination of digital starter, because in my boat is not scheduled and anyone could turn it on... Can someone tell me how to program? Thank you very much in advance!

Hi Handis. I have a Z250 Shabah, and I was concerned about the same issue with the keyless start when I first got mine. I was able to locate a copy of the Mercruiser Keyless Ignition manual. Since you're a contributing member, you have access to it, and it's located Here

You can only reprogram the code I believe twice. So make sure and set it at something you'll always remember. Otherwise you'll have a crawl way below your dash, into the storage compartment and find the serial number on the control panel box. Then you'll have to call Mercruiser and have them look up the original code. It sounds like a total pain to do, and I'm glad the previous owner of mine had never set it. From the factory, the code was set at "0000". You might want to give it a try. Type the "0000" number in, and hit the run button. If your blower comes on, then you don't have a code set. You can then lock the ignition with the code again by entering "0000" and hitting Stop. It'll make a beeping noise and then it should be locked, so you'll either need the key, or the code to start it.
