The fiberglass shell on the passenger chair on my 202Z is cracking. I am assuming that it would be difficult to purchase an intact shell therefore my thinking is to fashion some angle iron for structural rigidity. I believe I could use the existing screws which attach the shell to the seat so it doesn't show. Does anyone have an better solution?

Well, i would remove the cushions & take the shell into a autobody shop that does fibreglass repairs. They should be able to complete a near invisible repair & maybe even strengthen the shell up a little bit.

i had one of mine break early on, and ordered a spare from mariah before they went out of business. i now have another one cracking. when this one goes, i am going after market with flip up so i can see over the windshield better
