Default Stupid Human Tricks...

I would like to see a new sticky tread or a thread of some sort of just assorted "horror" stories that people have done while boating their Mariahs. Just stuff like leaving plugs out ect... Mainly to help new boaters (such as myself) to learn from some of the mistakes of others. Thanks for the great web site just my 2cents worth of a suggestion haha.

    Hi Irace82,

That's and interesting proposition... sounds more like a thread on "if only I could do that over again" if you know what I mean... and it shouldn't be limited to just our Mariahs but anything related to boating, wouldn't you say?

Let's see how our Admins and other members feel about such a thread and maybe we could call it something like"Here's your sign" (Anyone who has seen Comedian Bill Engvall knows what I mean ) and stick it under the Boating 101 Forum.

If we do start the thread, would you, Irace82 like to be it's first contributor?

Yeah that sounds like a great idea i would love to see a thread of some sort like any of those you suggested. And yeah any boat would be fine it doesnt have to be just our prized Mariahs.

And as for me being the first to post in the section haha i havent had the pleasure of doing any of those things yet since this is the very first boat ever i bought and i havent even had it in the water yet to drive! But thats why i would like to see the section so i can learn from others mistakes.

Well hopefully the Admins can work something out. Just wanted to pitch the idea around.

I think all you really have to do is peruse the boating 101 forum.

Here's a fine example: Mystery Plug

Aww come on now, we were all newbies at one point too...

I like the idea, and I've got a collection of great ones I'll be posting later this week to a new topic. Maybe "The Lounge" might be the proper place for it, just so it doesn't offend any members.
