Default Transom shower

My Talari has a transom shower on and it doens't work. It's 12 years old and the plastic is kinda yellowed, so I bought a new one on Ebay for a winter project.

My question is, where the deuce do you put water in the thing at? I've searched high and low and to no avail. The hose for the shower seems to come from the hull near the front of the engine...surely Mariah didn't mean for us boat owners to shower ourselves with bilge water did they??

Any input would be appreciated!

Your cold line is going to attach to the line coming up from the Raw water pump on the crank up to the thermostat. When you look at the pump there are two lines, one coming from the outdrive and one going up to the thermostat. The one going up to the thermostat is the one you want to tap into.

For hot, simply tap into an available drain plug on the side of the block. The reason i say available is because on the 5.7GXi theres a plug that has a temperature sensor installed into it. Probably don't want to mess with that one.

Here's my sweet diagram to help explain:

Strange. Doesn't sound like much of a shower.
