Default Help locating Horn Cover

I'm missing the 'decrative' top cover piece for the horn on my '98 Talari. (I still have the white base piece that it mounts to.)

Any ideas who made these?

Thanks!

Mariah used two different manufacturers of horns. One was AFI, and the other was ITC. I believe you could have an AFI model.

Do a quick search for "horn" on the forum, and you'll find lots of info that should help you out!

Thanks man! I went to AFI's site and I found some close matches. I'll need to cut a chunk of shrink warp off this weekend to get at it to get some measurements.

I love this time of year. I have to start stockpiling all the parts for the projects I put off last fall.

Bringing this back from the dead.

Can anyone tell me if it was more standard to see SS or a white plastic cap on the '98 Mariahs? I'm assuming SS. It looks like I might have to just get a new complete grill cover and do some drilling. Finding an exact match that snaps onto my exhisting mount is not looking likely.

Mine is white, I don't know that I've seen many SS horn covers. Let's try and get some other members to chime in!

My '95' Talari had a square white cover and my '01 z275 has a oval SS cover. I think your original was probably the white one. But there are many variances in each model so I would go with what you like best!

Mine is SS oval. It's a '99 and has the Z package, don't know if that makes a difference or not.

Thanks guys. After an hour of obsessive searching the best I could come up with was a factory Sea Ray horn cover.

    This One.

Its the only one I could find that would let me retain the OEM mount bolts. I'll just have to scrub the 'snap base plate', and drill two more holes to mount over the OEM bolts that I assume hold the horn in place.

Kind of interesting, I found a picture of another '98 I had thought of buying and it was missing the cover as well. I'm wondering if this was a common issue with them popping off.
