Default Ignition switch

2000 Shabah 182--ignition switch failed. Is the switch a common marine switch, or is it exclusive to the Mariah?

It should be a common part although from what I've heard the Mariah key blanks are no longer available. But any marine grade ignition switch should function perfectly as long as it has the same positions (off, acc, run, start were the 4 on both of my Mariahs).

I found the actual switched and keys ! There is a letter code stamped on the key and that's all he needs. If interested, I'll post it up after my wife gets home. She has his contact info.

iginal Mariah Logo Keys & Key Cylinders - Ordering information
I have the original Gold Mariah keys and matching key cylinders. The keys have a W,X,Y or Z stamped on them for the code. If you cannot find the code then simply hold your key up against the picture below & match the cut pattern. If nothing matches then you very likely have an aftermarket key cylinder/key. If so sent me an email & i will help you out. I do have all 4 of the Original Mariah keys W, X, Y and Z. If you have the plain brass key: W = RL320, X = RL321, Y = RL322, Z = RL323. Original keys are $20.00 each, key cylinders are $30.00 & shipping is $10.00 within the USA & may be slightly more ($18 to Canada) outside of the USA. Prices are still in effect as of Jan 01/14.

PayPal at [email protected] and I will ship to your confirmed shipping address.

If you have any other questions please email me at: [email protected]
