Hello,
I am new to the forum and have already learned a great deal. I am working on a 1995 Mariah Talari 180 with the 4.3LX for my wifes aunt. She had a guy look at it last year and he told her she needed a new starter solenoid. I took a look and the starter is laying in the bottom of the boat. To make a long story short, I need to know what wires hook up to the four posts on the starter. I downloaded a service manual but I cant see it clear enough to tell where the wires go. I believe they attach as follows:
2 large posts:
Left - Red wire from battery and red wire from solenoid
Right - Orange wire and black wire from starter body

2 small posts:
Top - Purple
bottom - Yellow

I would appreciate any help.

I believe you have it right from what i can see. I dont have my boat handy though to confirm that information.
