Specifically how does this mount?
Rule Submersible Bilge Pump 02 - 1500 GPH - Overton's
does it have a mount? do I need one? Does the strainer screw down and the pump snaps in? I got the wiring just not sure on the mounting?
This is to replace a 750gpm pump that has some broken tabs and had a jerry rigged garden hose from the previous owner! They also have a 1100 for $54 if you think it would be better or enough for my 1999 Shaba 202.

my original outlet pipe that is still in place (it had the garden hose stuffed inside it) is 1-1/8". Also the pump and float switch are currently mounted in the front part of the bilge (under the engine pully area) is this location ok? I have never even seen water come anywhere near it and generally only have water from swimmers, tubes ect that runs off the floor and sunpad. I generally end up with a little puddle in the far rear of the bilge after a day out.

Well by the looks of this picture of a replacement strainer, I'd say the strainer screws down and the pump snaps in, lol. Please, I'd still like your input on pump location and size.

I believe you have the mounting procedure exactly right and yes it goes on a small pad just in front of your motor.
