Horn Fuse

Does anyone know where I can find the fuse for the horn on my '97 Talari? It's not working and I don't have an owners manual for it, nor have I been able to find a fuse box reference diagram anywhere under the dash. I just want to find out if it is the fuse or how else I need to get it fixed. Thanks.

Hi Mike,

The fuse panel might be located behind the dash to the right of the steering wheel as see in this picture:
(This is a picture another member took, I think this is a Bowrider but it gives you an idea where to look)

Look up from under the steering wheel. Now if your dash is sealed on the bottom, see if you can gain access from inside the cabin. Also check for a circuit breaker panel, our Bowrider has one located forward of the radio pod assembly.

Good luck and if it's in a different location, let us know.

I'm able to see it now, its cause I was at work and it was blocked. I think the fuse on the horn is fine cause the switch lights up, but the horn itself needs replacing. Any advice on where I can get a cheap one to suffice? Nothing fancy, don't need the grill or anything, just the hidden horn unit itself. Thanks.

What I do need is a sheet or reference for which fuse is for what application. My boat uses only ATC fuses for the accessories and I want to know which fuse is for which appliance for reference. I assume they are typical for most boats so any reference picture or diagram will do. Thanks.

Hi sweetness34,

A few of our members got theirs from the internet, just type in boat horns in your search engine or read this thread and try the links from these members, click here

Hi sweetness34,

We have various wiring diagrams , but you will need to become a contributing member to access them, I highly recommend doing so, as you will have access to these and much much more documentation. Click here to see what each level offers.

Once you're a contributing member, I can guide you to several diagrams that may assist you with the fuses.
