Winterizing 1999 Shabah 202 Merc
 

We normally have our boat winterized by an excellent mechanic (I refer to him as Andy the boat god). However, this year he is not available and our boat is up at the cottage and we haven't been able to find a mechanic.

So, I found an excellent overview on winterization on this site. My main concern is making sure that I drain everything that needs to be drained. My problem is that I don't have anything showing me the plugs/hoses that need to be opened up. I only have an owner's manual, not a service manual. Any advice? Thanks!

Not sure what engine you have but ... if you do a You Tube search for 'winterizing a 4.3 / 5.0 / 5.7 (or whatever) you should find a few good clear videos on what needs to be done. And since you called it a 'cottage', I'm assuming you are Canadian?
