New linear actuators

So I bought two new actuators to lift the engine hatch but I can't use the stock brackets. What do you guys think about mounting them per the below pictures? The bracket on left is stock one and bracket on right is the where new one would be drilled. I'm worried about the strength of the fiberglass. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...6a5ac0d67d.jpg

Re: New linear actuators

Does it seem "flimsy"? if so over time it could crack... If you can get under it from the side maybe try reinforcing it somehow with some creativity on your part.

Ehh not really, it seems strong but I'm still apprehensive. Anybody have experience with this?
