Note that in your top picture the sender is labeled starboard. If you replace them you might as well do both since they come bundled when you purchase them.

The Starboard (right) is the Trim Gauge sender. The Port (left) one is the Trim Limit switch. This is all referenced facing the bow (front) with the stern (back) behind you.
