Default Battery Replacement

Hi,

Looking to replace my Battery. Anyone know what size? Can't make out the #'s on the old battery. Boat is a 1998 Jubilee 214.

Also, anyone using a solar panel recharging system? Which one works best.

Thank you and have a nice day,

Bill

Easiest way bill is to measure the size of your battery tray/box.
Then it's just a matter of the group size , and brand/model of battery you prefer.
Here is a good example of the battery sizes for marine use.

    Thank you, that helps.

How about the solar charging system? Ever use one?

Got a small foldup I use on the main boat battery , but it is just a "trickle" charge
I use two of these on my 5th wheel , and they work great.
I don't know if the size would be a issue for you , but even one would keep up with my single battery in the 5th wheel.
I would think they would work well on a boat too.
You can get a lot more power , but it gets a lot more expensive also.

That's great, thank you. A couple of the guys around me have it set up. They swear buy it. I don't have any shore power at the dock, so I am left with Mother Nature.
