    Mine has the test alarm also and i agree with Mark....'tis kinda annoying.

    The alarm is wired to the oil pressure sender (at least on my 5.7L it is).

    It may be annoying, but I'd rather it be working than not...

    Agreed. I would rather it work than not work but it's still a little annoying.

    Nah....i dont wait for the thing to stop making noise before cranking. Firing it up gets rid of the noise faster.

    Having the Lanyard drop off on me is about the ONLY thing that I havent screwed up
    So thanks for the heads up, but no doubt, when it happens it will still take me a while to figure it out.
    God, boating was supposed to be ENJOYABLE.
