What is this pull switch for on an old non-Mariah boat

My parents bought a cabin and it came with this old Duracraft boat. We've yet to get it to run right (admittedly haven't spent much time on it either). I was wondering if someone here with more knowledge of boating might know what the heck this silver pull switch just to the right of the steering wheel is. Is it a kill switch or lights maybe? Or some other third thing? It's not labeled at all and having it pushed in or pulled out doesn't have any noticeable effect.

I would guess that it is for lights, since I don't see any other switches on the dash. Look under the dash and see where the wires are going.

Looks like a switch for navigation lights. Likely a dead fuse or poor ground if they aren't working.

Thanks all... thought it was probably lights but not sure. I'll follow some wires next time I'm out that way.
