Mariah hulls

What type of hulls do Mariah's have? Typically the bigger models, are any of them padded? For instants, say, the z250, would it have a v-hull that is padded?
You see them on the baja's and the velocities etc.

Re: Mariah hulls

As far as I have seen they are all V bottoms.
In my opinion the high performance stuff like padded hulls, stepped hulls, K-planes, etc were used on the typical go fast boats and didnt really have a place on Mariahs comfy cruisers. Its not that the technology wasnt available in the mid-late 1990s- Fountain had stepped hulls as earlier as 1996 that I know of.
I have a Shabah 250 and it cruises nicely. As far as handling big water and higher speeds it is immediately obvious that it does not like big wakes in comparison to some of the deeper V and stepped hull boats Ive been in. (It is really no comparison) Kind of like how the roomy cuddy and open interior in my 250 is not comparable to a similarly sized go fast.
