    Title Corsa Exhaust Diverters
Description I ordered my diverters directly from Corsa back in 1998. They had my model on file and sent me everything in one kit. The kit required me to raise the exhaust elbows by 3 inches by inserting a 3 inch spacer...this was based upon their engineering data for the hull/model...there can be variations in where an engine sits in relation to the waterline depending upon the hull when the boat is not on plane. This is necessary to minimize any possibility of water backflowing into the manifolds from the thru-hull exhaust tips. There are butterfly valves in the exhaust tips which protect against any surges from wave/swells hitting the back of the boat. Overall, installation was pretty simple...a little scarey when it came to cutting the holes through the transom...I measured at least 12 times first. Since installing them, I have had no problem what-so-ever with them. I utilized a spare switch on the panel to the starboard side of the steering wheel. The only problem I ever had was accidently leaving the switch on and draining the battery. The big question....did I see any increase in speed? No...but honestly...you think anyone spends the money putting them on a stock boat/engine for performance???? Hey, give me a break....I was single back when I put them in!!!
