Bouyancy Aid

Hi
I have grand kids coming out this summer
And obvious to say they will want to be on the boat
I want to fit them with a buoyancy aid
Nothing too restricting as they will be in and out of the water
And it will be very hot
Ages 3yrs 4yrs and 7
Any suggestions

I would suggest maybe some small (child size) ski vests, they're easy to get in and out of, and provide a good amount of flotation. These type of vests are used for watersports like tubing, waterskiing, wake boarding, etc. I think they'd work great for you. Here's an example of what I they look like.

Here those are called PFD's (personal floatation devices) I have them for my children (8 and 11). For smaller children, the models usually have a collar with a handle, and a crotch strap that connects the front and back to keep the vest from riding up should they fall into the water.

You may have a hard time getting/finding them, but Hyperlite makes life jackets with mobility in mind (for wakeboarding, tubing, swimming, etc.). They are very high quality, and some are even hand made in the USA. Keep in mind some are for competition use and are not USCG approved floatation devices. Make sure you find ones that meet the requirements of your government.
