Lake Powell trip from early July
 

Here are some photos from my short trip to Powell. We were there July 6-11 and stayed at Halls Crossing. We had great weather, a little bit of the heat (109*-112*) and a little bit of some afternoon thunder storms. Nothing out of the ordinary for us here in Colorado but it was nice to get out on some super clear water and just cruise! The photos do the scenery no justice but they do a good job of showing the shear size of Powell. Truly a magnificent place!

Reminds me of the good ol' days when I was younger and went almost every summer. :)
Looks like it's time to plan for next year at Powell.:yes_grin:

Thanks for the pics., Powell is just awesome. We moved our summer trip to later in the season to try for some cooler weather for a change.
