Surge Brakes

A few weeks ago we went out and had to launch at a very shallow ramp and I had to back in till my hitch was covered. Just occurred to me, that that means my master cylinder was underwater as well. I just checked the brake fluid level and it looks normal. Is there a possibility that I may have gotten some water into the master cylinder reservoir and should do a complete draining and bleeding of the brake lines?

Hey Jake ,

99.9% chance your fine. Unless you have been having issues with fluid leakage I would say your good to go. You would see the water in the reservoir if it got in thru the cap. Also if your brakes on the trailer start locking erratically you would want to flush the system.
IMO no worries there! :)
