boat weight

I have a 1992 Z2000 and it is pulled by a trailer that seems to have alot of weight on it. I have good tires on the axles but it still seems that when i hit a bumb that the boat bounces too much and the tires really give when It bounces. I am wondering what others would recommend. Should I maybe look into getting a tandem axle trailer and if so does anyone have any suggestions on where to start looking?

I am also in the process of looking for a tandem trailer. I still have the original trailer that came with the boat. There are so many websites out there it is hard just by pictures and what not to figure out what trailer is best.

hi Chris. What is the load capacity that your trailer can carry? It should be stamped on a plate on your trailer. Your boat weighs 2850lbs dry so with a full tank of gas and a few personal items in the boat you will be running pretty close to 3200-3300 lbs. Also, if its an original trailer it may be a bit worn down after 20yrs.....
