Adding trailer side guides

I'm looking to add a set of trailer guides to my trailer, any ideas? We have a '98 272Z Shabah that trailers very well, but we would like to add a set of guides that will help in loading the boat while on the ramp. Thanks, Steve.

Have you had any luck? I'm also thinking about making or buying a set for my trailer.

Lots of choice out there. Check out iboats.com for some ideas.

Guys, are you looking for the pole type of guides or the full side bunk style like this?

I was thinking poles on the back... but that looks really fool proof. I could probably get it on the trailer perfect everytime with bunks on the side. Wait... nope... I could probably still screw it up with those lol.

Be careful, my buddy with a 302 put the bunk style on and they removed his gold raised "Mariah" logo on the right side:(
The wind and/or current can make them rub the sides as you load.

Hi z275st, that's an excellent point to be aware of!

I guess we got lucky, as you can see from my earlier picture, the bunks are below the shield and Mariah decal so that won't be an issue here or at least is hasn't been during the last three years.

All and all, I can't say enough about having the side bunks, although they aren't the prettiest things to look at, they allow me (with the assistance of a good First Mate on shore) to re-trailer our Talari and haul out the entire rig in just minutes, even with cross winds.
