manufactuers label, compliance tag
 

I recently brought a 2000 Z182 and matching Prestige trailer over the border from the States into Canada.
Ran into a problem with the manufacturers compliance tag on the trailer missing, (faded/washed out) the specifications which were originally printed on the tag.
This information needed to be on the tag in order to pass an inspection which would allow me to register and license the trailer in Ontario.
What I ended up doing was using a label maker to print out the numbers using a small font on clear tape.
Stuck the labels onto the tag and from two feet away the numbers were crisp and legible.
Passed the inspection easily.
