I think they gave me the wrong trailer

http://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/2016...eaa8ec9901.jpg

Ok so ive read that the mariah shabah 180 is weighed in at 2200 lbs. my question is, did that include the original 4.3l with the alpha drive or is that dry weight? Hull only?
The gave me an ez loader 18' 102" width rated for 2800lbs with the current rubber.
The axle is too far forward to begin with, theres maybe 30lbs on the tongue. Im actually worried to drive with it, i have no idea what the boat weighs with the 5.7 and the bravo with a full tank.
But im betting im close to 900lbs overweight.
Any help from the pro's would be appreciated! Thanks guys.

That really does not look right aside from the important numbers that most probably never take into consideration. The trailer is too short otherwise you could move the boat forward on the trailer to get that weight more centered. The correct fix here is the proper sized trailer.
As for the weight in the brochure I really have no idea how it is determined. Maybe the brochure specifies somewhere. I cant imagine them weighing just a hull and not taking into consideration a 900 or 1200 lb motor seeing as some come with a V6 or a V8.

Yessir, i was thinking of moving the boat ahead, but the smart tabs are right in line with the runners. May not hurt as they would be level with the hull during transport. It would mean moving the winch forward, re locating the stand. I spoke with an ez load trailer rep and he said its no worry to move axles back so the tongue weight around the 10 percent mark. Everything on those trailers are adjustable.
Behind the wheels as is right now, is flexing pretty good under the weight. Worked too hard to get this boat, i dont want to loose it due to an underrated trailer. Phoning the dealer monday to see about a tandem, upgrade maybe.

Thanks motto.

I moved the axles back almost 11" and it the frame rails are no longer arcing, boat sits nice. I had my daughter peel the accent decals, as there was a few pieces missing, getting some new ones made up. As you can see, its hard to get away from the wife with an invisible garage! Haha!

That definitely looks better! How's the tongue weight?

Almost 200lbs. They say 10 percent but it was hard to judge using the axle travel /weight ratio. But it is much better. I was able to lift it with my finger before. Other than having to re position the aluminum brake line without breaking it, lots of measuring to keep axles straight.. It was fairly simple.

Looks much better.

I think the boat had a dry hull weight of 2200lbs. I'm assuming that was with the 4 cylinder engine, bone dry. Add a couple hundred pounds for the V6, plus the weight of fuel and gear.

I'm guessing my 95 Talari 180 to be close to 3500lbs including the trailer weight.
